Small Grants Scheme for Disabled Children – United Kingdom

Deadline: 13-Jul-20

If you’re a provider of a service for children and young people with special education needs and disabilities (SEND), the Devon Children and Families Partnership (DCFP) is inviting applications to its small grants scheme for financial support so that activities can run over the summer holiday.

(Ad) Still, finding it difficult to find new grants and donors to support your work? No way to easily search and identify upcoming funding opportunities? No idea how to raise funds? We have a solution for you. Our Premium Membership service answers all your questions. Learn more.

The scheme provides funding to organisations who support children and young people (0-18) with SEND to access their local community and take part in activities alongside their friends. The scheme also covers funding for young carers to undertake activities with disabled siblings. The scheme is provided by Devon County Council and is in partnership with Parent Carer Forum Devon.

DCFP appreciate that accessing the local community will be more challenging during Covid-19, and therefore all activities must be conducted in line with government guidance.

They would expect activities to take place during school holidays.
They will not fund anything set out as a responsibility for Schools under the SEND Code of Practice and expect activities to support greater inclusion into the community where possible but in line with current guidance.
